Founding Mothers Rising
March 8 – International Women’s Day
The relationship between Women and War is profound. Women disproportionately bear the brunt of conflict through increased risks of sexual violence, displacement, and economic hardship.
Patriarchal systems exacerbate these vulnerabilities, relegating women to passive roles and excluding them from decision-making in peace negotiations and post-conflict reconstruction.
Despite these challenges, women historically have played vital roles in resistance movements and peacebuilding efforts, opposing traditional gender norms and advocating for their rights.
The impact of War on Women varies significantly based on cultural contexts and social status, underscoring the need for an intersectional approach to gender equity and lasting peace.
Founding Mothers Petition
SUPPORT the FMM Proclamation + REJECT Project 2025

The Founding Mothers Proclamation contains our plan for achieving planetary Partnership and Peace. The Proclamation also contains a solemn promise: If our wisdom is ignored, we will commence an escalating series of novel, nonviolent direct-action campaigns.
Our FIRST campaign launched on January 1, 2025 – the Weekly Worldwide Wakeup – a global call for women (and the men who love us) to make GOOD NOISE every Wednesday at NOON in every time zone.
At the heart of our SECOND campaign is the Founding Mothers Petition, which juxtaposes our Proclamation against the Geneva Consensus Declaration.
This dangerous Declaration was drafted by Trump 1.0 before leaving office, scrapped by the Biden administration, then resurrected by Trump 2.0 in January 2025. It seeks to ban abortion, provide legal rights to the unborn, and limit the definition of family.
