So why are Progressives behind?
Right-wing think tanks have made mince-meat of the Progressive agenda for decades. Why? Because we’re late to coalition building and we lack structure. For a deeper dive into progressive mishaps, see our Theories of Change.
To build the MOTHER of all Movements, we’ll need cohesion and coordination. We envision a DECENTRALIZED network that allows each Partner to operate at maximum efficiency and speed.
We’ll also need CENTRALIZED Peace Rooms, where collective genius and wisdom can emerge. The Peace Rooms needs to be populated with seasoned analysts, strategists, activists, and negotiators.
We seek partners who support gender equity, democracy, global peace, spiritual growth, and planetary protection – people who understand that the evolutionary impulse has been interrupted and corrupted by men of power.
Left-wing Coalitions are forming rapidly
Progressives are closing the gap!
For example: ERA Coalition has 300 partners; United National Antiwar Coalition (UNAC) has 100 partners; United Religions Initiative has 200 Cooperation Circles in 50 countries; and 350.org has a global presence in over 70 countries. Imagine the collective power if just these four orgs and their coalitions joined forces!
We need to organize – both horizontally and vertically. Waging a Good War details how the Civil Rights Movement was structured. They used centralized planning and decentralized operations, and their tactical and logistical execution was impeccable!
Practical Radicals is an excellent resource. Successful movements require “long-term vision, an analysis of the historical moment, and a strategy that bridges them.” They also require “assessing the state of struggle between different social forces, the ‘common sense’ of the times, and where there are openings for change.”
Why Women-led?

The Founding Fathers of every nation installed Patriarchy and Privilege into the architecture of all governance and business systems.
Consequently, the Founding Mothers will be the best judges of when gender equity is achieved.

We seek cross-pollination and collaboration with the marvelous men who lead Peace, Spiritual, and Environmental groups.
How will the Peace Room be structured?
The critical importance of Regional HUBs
The central Peace Room is representative of ALL stakeholders, and its structure was designed by the Women’s Congress. We’ll also need HUBs in every nation to monitor the movement and provide feedback loops. Peace Rooms should be secure locations, where leaders of the movement can caucus. The Peace Pentagon in Independence, Virginia will serve as a central HUB in the United States.
